This research uses longitudinal pharmacometric models to describe disease progression and treatment effects in Alzheimer’s disease.
The work focuses on separating the underlying trajectory of disease from treatment-related changes and sources of variability. Model assumptions, estimands, time windows, and uncertainty are kept explicit so that results can be interpreted by clinical pharmacologists, clinicians, and drug-development teams.
The broader aim is to support transparent simulation and decision making in neurodegenerative disease development programmes.
